Vacansoleil heeft het jaar 2010 als eerste afgesloten in de UCI Europe Tour voor Pro Continentale ploegen, Skil-Shimano werd tiende. De Nederlandse formatie liet Saur-Sojasun en ISD-NERI achter zich, zij werden respectievelijk twee en drie. In de top tien zijn ook twee Belgische teams te bewonderen. Topsport-Vlaanderen werd achtste, net een plaats beter dan Verandas Willems.

Voor Vacansoleil is het een spannende periode. De blauwgele formatie zal binnenkort horen of ze een ProTour licentie krijgen voor komende jaren. Waarschijnlijk zullen de eerste ploegen vandaag al bekendgemaakt worden.
